After a bit too much linear algebra, and C.J. Cherryh, I recently had a dream where I was trying to figure out how to diagonalize alien catperson matrices... I do tend to enjoy the weird, half-mathematical dreams, though.
Rickrolling already is weirdly specific enough to be the substance of dreams, too.
There's a CJC story about a world where philosophy is of the utmost importance, to the point that the current idea goes that everybody can define their own world; hence, any undesired element is simply ignored outright. Have you read it? When I read it a long time ago, I thought it would be something you'd like.
