Kinda; the person I need to add to the first part to make it work doesn't want to be added - or, in more objective terms, doesn't have a place where he could fit.
Besides that, it's a simple plot, and I somewhat worry that people would go "oh no, not that again" and so overlook the detail of the world, which is where my focus really lies.
