I bet that's so much better than the whirly feeling when the deadline goes wooshing by because you fell over shortly before it. XvX

That feels more like falling. "Oops", then there's a period of nothing but you thinking again about how you didn't manage; and then, eventually, you hit the ground (face the consequences).
