The last week has been fairly turbulent for me; family matters not going very well - badly enough that I don't feel like writing about it here. I do have an LJ where I've put some of that, but it's friends locked. At least my birthday was good!

For now, while I find out what I'll put here and what I'll keep there, or if I'll unify both and just handle the "this was originally written on DW, write your replies there" message... more thoughts about my creatures.




We can only see what changes. If it doesn't change, it vanishes against the void and is lost. Without space, there is nowhere to exist; without time, all is mere variation upon a background.


The Vasai have an unusual way of looking at things, but this unfamiliarity interests me, in particular because they are "my" creatures. They have grown from my own ideas, yet they are, at some level, different.

So that's the Vasai concept of integrity. There is a reason I wrote this; I'm thinking about expanding on it in ways they (the Vasai) didn't think of, and if I do and write about it here, it helps to have some common references so those that read about it don't just go "huh, integrity?".

That said, I know I've used terms that I haven't explained (such as lakes, local groups of Vasai of 150 at most). If you're curious about them, just ask!
